FAQs
Taxis in Tividale — your questions
How quickly can you get a taxi to Tividale?
It depends on the time of day and what we have free, but Tividale is inside our normal coverage so we are not sending a car from miles away. Ring 01902 40 40 40 and whoever answers will tell you honestly how long it will be — if it is going to be a wait, we say so rather than leaving you guessing.
How much is a taxi from Tividale?
We quote on the phone rather than publishing fares, because the right price depends on where exactly you are going, the time, how many passengers and how much luggage. For airport runs and long distance you get one fixed, all-inclusive price agreed before you travel. Local journeys are metered from the pickup point.
Do you do airport transfers from Tividale?
Yes — it is the biggest part of what we do. Birmingham Airport is about 30 miles from Tividale, roughly 40 mins. We cover every UK airport from here on a fixed price, we track your flight, and early-morning departures are completely routine.
Can you take a wheelchair in Tividale?
Yes. We run ramp-fitted wheelchair accessible vehicles and accessible hackney carriages, and there is never a surcharge for the wheelchair. Mention it when you ring so we send the right vehicle.
Do you cover Tividale at night?
We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including Christmas Day and New Year. The dispatch desk is staffed overnight, so a 3am pickup is answered by a person, not a machine.
